EUREKA!

Audiovisual Eureka is a pan-European inter-governmental organisation that has 34 member countries as well as the European Commission and the Council of Europe as associate members.

The MITIL organisation is, therefore, very proud that Eureka has shown its faith in our brand-new event by agreeing to facilitate and enlargen the participation of attendees from Central, Eastern and Southern Europe by inviting and hosting an important number of broadcasters representing countries which are not yet members of the European Union.

Bearing in mind the objectives of MITIL 2001 and its slogan, "Low Power, High Energy", and the potential that is offered by these rapidly emerging countries, it is our belief that the strength our event will derive from being associated with Eureka can only but be beneficial to the success of this brand new event.

International Committee & Partnerships:

MITIL, aiming to create an international networking platform for Independent Broadcasters, has established links with a number of national bodies whose members are local broadcasters, independent producers or webcasters in Europe and overseas. More links are presently being negociated and will be announced shortly.
Check out the current list of our International Committee by going to: http://www.mitil.org/c_organisation.html

Recent meetings with international bodies permit us to enjoy a number of privileged relationships such as with the International as well as the European Headquarters of the International Webcasting Association (IWA).
Some European chapters of MCA (formely ITVA), Media Communications Association, namely Denmark and Norway as well as the UK, which became IVCA - International Visual Communication Association, have already joined forces in order to promote MITIL to their members.
Negotiations are taking place with many more national chapters of this and other prestigious congregation.
